Location: Olive Yu Jewellery, Ahangama, Sri Lanka
Position Type: Full-time (5.5 days/week)
Job Summary
We’re hiring a confident, organised, and fluent English speaker to take the lead in our beautiful oceanfront jewellery store. As our Senior Sales Lead, you won’t just assist customers — you’ll run the floor. This role blends sales expertise, creativity, and strategy. You’ll help guide the sales team, monitor performance, set promotions, report on trends, and collaborate with production and marketing to ensure everything in-store runs seamlessly.
We’re looking for someone proactive, stylish, and sharp — who can talk jewellery, spot a bestseller before it happens, and bring energy to the space.
Requirements
- Deliver warm, confident, expert-level customer service

Handle high-value customers and take custom orders with professionalism
- Act as the main point of leadership in the showroom

Train, guide, and support junior sales staff
- Monitor sales performance and run weekly and monthly reports
- Work with the team to set promotions and ensure pricing strategies are up to date
- Ensure bestsellers are always displayed and reordered quickly
- Create merchandising ideas and update displays to reflect the season, trends, or product focus
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content ideas, product highlights, and customer insights
- Share creative ideas for new designs and styling improvements
- Use computer tools (POS system, Google Sheets, email, reports) with confidence
- Maintain showroom standards – clean, stocked, beautiful
Requirements
- Fluent in English – speaking, writing, and listening with confidence
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience, ideally in fashion, luxury, or design
- Experience taking and managing custom orders
- Strong computer and reporting skills (POS, Sheets, Email)
- Natural leader – organised, encouraging, and accountable
- Creative and visual thinker – loves displays, styling, and layout
- Passionate about jewellery, design, and giving a great customer experience
- Honest, respectful, and always willing to go the extra step
